Art from the other night:

I've got to give credit to my friend Joel for thinking up Wounded Wolf and making it into a press effort.  A few of my friends came up with the new tag line "wounded, but walking" last night. Only 2 pictures came out, plus a print on a shirt Joel did for me (my friend Jake has a few too).  Unfortunately, using a camera phone isn't the best way to capture art in dark tunnels.

The Myth of the Ivory Tower: Interest in street art

Recently I've started being interested in street art.  I have to admit, "Exit Through the Gift Shop" got me started, so maybe I'm band wagoning. I really don't care either way. I've always liked to walk the tunnels (for the non-Appstate folk out there, we have 2 tunnels you are allowed to tag), and see what was new.  I find it interesting the different ways people try to portray themselves through their art. Often it falls into the categories of: tag, fast art, or something well thought out. Typically the first two.
